SUGARLOAF, LUZERNE COUNTY -- Five children have been arrested on drug charges in Luzerne County.

Eyewitness News was first to tell you last month about an alleged drug ring at the Valley Elementary-Middle School in Sugarloaf.

Several 13-year-old students were accused of selling, trading, and smoking marijuana. Police say some were also dealing prescription pain killers. The activity took place both in school and at school bus stops.

The I-Team has learned five students are now facing charges. Charges against at least two more students are pending. In response to the investigation, the school district has stepped up their anti-drug education programs.
