The 1st Annual "A Sound For Scoliosis" benefit will take place Thursday night, July 30th at Heil's Place on Wheeler Avenue in Dunmore. The event kicks off at 7 PM and features 2 local bands (Faithful Agression, & Graces Downfall), & 2 regional bands (Charetta & Shadows Lie) that write and perform original music. In addition to the live music, the event will offer various auctions with great prizes to area restaurants and other places. Admission to the event is $10 per person or $15 per couple. All proceeds benefit the National Scoliosis Foundation. Lucia Peregrim of Scranton organized the event because she has battled scoliosis since she was in 7th grade.
