SCOTT TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Humane Society officers in Lackawanna County say a reward fund is being established for the capture and conviction of the person or persons who mutilated three dogs in Wyoming County.

The bodies of the dogs were found skinned in Eaton Township this week.

Humane Society officer Tina Walker said the incident is similar to one in Lackawanna County near Halloween that involved the death and mutilation of two cats.

But the officer said there is no evidence that the two incidents are related.
