BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY- The fire at the old Irondale Inn was called in just before 8:00 Wednesday night at 97 Irondale Drive.

When crews arrived on the scene flames were shooting from the top floor of the apartment building. Firefighters endured bitterly cold temperatures while trying to contain the fire.

14 people are left without a home right before Christmas. The Red Cross is helping the families .
